Poemify

John Dorsey (my husband) and I are embarking on an ongoing artistic dialogue that began with a gift. He is writing poems for me, each in response to a prompt. After sitting with his completed poems, I create accompanying illustrations to visually represent the worlds that he builds through words. These poems and artworks represent our love, loss, growth, and journey through life with each other. They illustrate our interpretation of, and connection to the world.
