Commission a work of art made for you.

Do you have an idea for an art piece that you want to bring to life? Or maybe you have a specific person in mind that you want the artwork to be created for? I can work with you to realize your vision using your size, color, and image preferences. Below are some questions to think about as you consider if a commission is right for you:

• What is your timeline? Depending on the size and number of requests, commissions can take from 1-3 months to complete after the contract is signed before shipment.

What to expect throughout the process?

Step 1: 30 Minute consultation (no charge)
1 week after website inquiry

During the consultation, we’ll discuss your ideas for the commission, your favorite art pieces to get an idea of your style, color, and place preferences. I’ll also answer any questions you might have about the process.

Below are size options with corresponding prices to provide ideas. However, you are welcome to request alternative sizes and I can send a pricing model for your review.

Step 2: Contract
1 week after consultation

I will send over a contract that we will both sign. It will include the agreed upon size, your design directions, price, and delivery options. I retain all copyrights to my works including custom commissions. Depending on the size and number of requests, commissions can take from 1-3 months to complete before shipment. A specific date of completion will be given to you in the contract. After the contract is signed and full payment is received, I will begin work on your vision. 

Step 3: Composition sketch
1.5 weeks after signed contract & payment 

I will send you a draft compositional sketch with a brief description of the techniques, colors, and textures I plan to incorporate into the piece. This is where you can tell me what changes you’d like me to make before I create the final piece. I will send one in-process photograph so you can see how the work is progressing and make any last suggestions before it moves into completion.   

Step 3: Delivery
2-4 months after compositional sketch

Once the project is complete, I will send photographs of the finished product and prepare it for delivery. All work is shipped unframed so you can choose the best frame to fit the design for your space.
