The intricacies of coral communities inspired this artwork. Its strength emerges when its interlocking systems disperse wave energy creating nurseries of growth. While building this piece in my studio, I analyzed my field sketches and photographs as I questioned: What more can I learn about care from the living systems and cultures around me?
